Can Malt Liquor Be Used As Emergency Coolant?

Last summer, as I crossed a vast stretch of Western America, my old car overheated. I pulled over to contemplate the dilemma wondering where any water might be. I spied what appeared to be a beer can. It turned out to be an unopened 40 of Schlitz Malt Liquor. Never having poured any beer in my radiator I debated the prudence of doing so but was going to anyway. My 19-year-old son advised against and my 24 year-old-son concurred it was wise to wait on a wrecker.

Mostly water with some alcohol but barley, hops, sugar and whatever might ruin my water pump. So I went with the boys decision.

Later at the garage it dawned on me that this was probably the first time in history that "19-and-24 year old sons", "malt liquor" and "wise decision" were ever used in the same  thought.
